How we support
chess in Northeastern Wisconsin |
- Members of the Green Bay Chess Association have conducted the
Green Bay Scholastic Chess Championships annually since 1998.
- In cooperation with Green Bay School District's Gifted and
Talented Program, we have taught chess classes from beginner to
intermediate levels.
- We have donated over 40 chess sets to 17 schools in Brown County,
and are planning more donations in the future.
- We help run the Brown County High School Chess Championship,
providing trophies and chess equipment to winners.
- We provide educational materials to teachers and parents
assisting those who want to start chess clubs in their schools.
Because 100% of our staff time is volunteered, we maintain low
overhead, assuring the most efficient use of charitable contributions.

We rely on the
generous support of the community
to continue our work. |
