Chess
Growing in Green Bay
(04-13-2004)
Northeast
Wisconsin Technical College added itself to the list of local venues
hosting a large plastic chess set. The giant set is seated just
outside the bookstore in the new building addition at NWTC. The
pieces stand roughly 18" tall and rest on a snap-together plastic tile
board. If you'd like to see one of these sets up close and
personal for yourself, please come to the kickoff of the "Chess in the
City" program being held at Washington Commons April 15th. Two
boards will be on display and open for the public to try. See the
previous headline for further information.
